Membership

Membership in the Hawkeye Model Railroad Club is open to all individuals who share a passion for model railroading. We offer several levels of membership for adults (ages 18 and older), as well as a youth membership program for those under 18.

Youth members are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all club meetings and events they attend.

We especially encourage high school and college students to get involved—this is a great opportunity to learn, build skills, and be part of a supportive community.

The Hawkeye Model Railroad Club welcomes everyone regardless of age, race, gender, or background. If you’re interested in trains, you’re welcome here!

Membership Dues

Dues help support the ongoing operation of the club and cover expenses that donations alone don’t always meet. Our current monthly dues are:

• Regular Member: $30/month
• Student Member: $15/month
• Youth Member: $10/month
• Probationary Member: $30/month

To become a member, we ask that you visit the club in person to pick up a membership form and meet with current members. We’d love to show you around and answer any questions you might have.

If you're a member of another model railroad club and are interested in visiting for a tour, operating session, or special event, please reach out by email. We’d be thrilled to host you or your group!
