The overall concept the Club layout is to depict Midwest. The total floor area of the L-shaped Club space is about 1955 square feet. Six viewing windows along the west wall allow visitors to the Antique Car Museum of Iowa to view activities within the space. A Display Layout is located in the northwest section and has a double-track dog bone loop that is separate from the track for the Club Layout. Push buttons on the Museum side of the wall allow visitors to run the two trains on the Display Layout.The Club layout is designed to allow operation and has a Midwestern theme in an era that is yet to be defined. Engineering digital command system is used to operate trains. Train lengths of 15 ft can be accommodated in staging, yards, and passing tracks.
